ABOUT

Anne McCubbin
Currently based in Greater Glasgow, Scotland.
I've always been a creative type, interested in art, design and technology.

I studied Digital Interaction Design at DJCAD, University of Dundee, where I learned about the design process and developed design skills such as researching, prototyping, collaborating with others, pitching and presenting.

In producing both physical and digital prototypes, I have practical skills in working with wood, MDF, metal, laser cutting and soldering, and digital skills using the Adobe Suite, Figma and programming in Arduino and Processing.

I then studied Software Development at the University of Strathclyde. This was a conversion course, that I chose to study after completing my bachelor’s degree. I chose to further my studies in software development after acquiring skills in user interface design and basic programming for interactive prototypes during my undergraduate degree.

I gained experience programming in Python, Java, the React Native JavaScript framework, and using SQL and NoSQL databases. I also learned about software engineering methodologies, research, application design and testing.
